ABOUT GOOD ENOUGH GRACES
Designed especially for women, Good Enough Graces shares ideas that build women’s confidence in God and themselves.
I know a lot of amazing women who don’t know they are amazing. In fact, many of them go through life convinced they are so very ordinary, even inadequate.
I guess that shouldn’t be a surprise, though, because a lot of women measure themselves against the standard of perfection.
We spend our lives trying to be in everyone’s good graces. In God’s good graces. In our family’s good graces. And our coworkers’, and our friends’. . .
But, who are we kidding? It’s exhausting to try to win approval and look like we’ve got it all together all the time.
That’s why it’s time to embrace grace--and the idea that we are in good enough graces.
That may sound like we're settling--but it's actually quite the opposite.
Grace, after all, lets us ease up on ourselves—and others. Grace invites us to let go of self-doubt and embrace the better-than-you-can-imagine life God has for us. Grace means it’s possible to be messy and hopeful all at once.
So, it seems we women need reminders now and then that although we’re all a bit of a mess, God has plans for a beautiful, brave life for us.
